Meditation for Beginners – Short Course
August 9 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Sunday, repeating until August 30, 2020
Are you curious about starting your own meditation practice? Have you heard about the many benefits of meditation, but don’t know how to incorporate this practice into your life? Do you already meditate and desire more depth in your foundation?
This Meditation for Beginners short course is the perfect way to both begin and deepen your meditation practice.
This course will provide you with the foundational tools you need to begin your own practice. We will focus on demystifying the world of meditation, and we will explore how to make a meditation practice both attainable and tangible. You will explore the philosophy of meditation and the important ways it can enhance your life. You will try, first-hand, different types of meditation that are easily transferable to a home practice. Finally, a safe space will be created for you to be curious, ask questions, dive deep, share, connect and learn together.
You can expect each session to include time to learn, reflection and journaling, group sharing, and of course, meditation!
This course is open to anyone who is curious about starting, or maintaining, their own meditation practice. No experience necessary.
Wear comfortable, cozy clothes, and bring a journal along for notes and reflection.
