Learn + experience simple, fun + easy myofascial techniques that help you to release deep tensions from the body so that you can feel light, free and energised.
Your mind lives in your body. And so do your emotions. When the mind is overloaded, or emotions are not properly processed, the body will feel tense, stiff and uneasy. That tension ends up in the deeper physical structures of the body – the fascia, myofascia and the energy channels called meridians. And it gets stored there.
Have you ever heard of issues in the tissues? That’s what this is all about. You’ve probably experienced that uneasy feeling in the body when you’ve felt upset, angry or anxious. The body carries your feelings + your emotions.
Releasing the tensions from the body and from the tissues helps to reduce the load on the mind and from the nervous system. I like to think of it as shifting your psychology by shifting your physiology – using the body to reset the mind. Releasing tensions from the body to release tensions from the mind.
In this Live In-Person workshop, I’ll show you how to do that using techniques that clear out the tensions from the deeper layers of the body.
We’ll start off with a short informative talk on the fascinating connection between your emotions and the fascia, myofascia and meridians in your body.
This will be followed by a 90-minute experiential session where you’ll learn and experience a variety of fun, effective and simple techniques to release blockages and tensions from the tissues. Included are myofascial release, fascial bouncing, myo-yin, acupressure, tapping and meridian work.
We’ll finish off with a 35-minute guided yoga nidra practice to seal the healing and releasing benefits for the tissues and the nervous system.
