Spend a weekend of deeply mindful resting with Clare Etherton and Jessica Devi. Now in it’s 9th year our annual mid Winter relaxation retreat always delivers a beautiful weekend. Our intention is to create a space to reconnect, turn inward and rest your body, mind and spirit. Our 2020 focus will be on nurturing the possibilities that lie within us all. Mid Winter is a potent time to look inward, solidify dreams and directions and sow seeds for possibilities to flourish.
Our daily schedule includes active yoga, restorative yoga, yin yoga, gentle movement practices, guided relaxation techniques, self inquiry and time in nature.

Single rooms are available, but limited and are put aside for those with specific reasons reasons for needing them. Otherwise rooms are twin or quad share and prices reflect this.
Jessica Devi –
Jessica is passionate about yoga, dance, creativity and mindful movement and believes they lead to a richer, more fulfilled and deeper experience of being human. With over 25 years of experience in the fields of health, wellbeing and fitness Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work. Clare Etherton –
Clare is a yoga teacher, dance movement therapist, early childhood educator and mother. Over the years, she has found joy and solace in movement practices and values the notion that we can be bodyful, as well as mindful. Clare values non-verbal communication and the memories, wisdom, emotion and somatic knowing our bodies hold and can directly and authentically express. She has been teaching yoga and somatic movement for well over a decade and continues to seek out opportunities to study and learn from experienced therapists, teachers and movement practitioners. Clare’s current movement focused work is as a yoga teacher and dance movement therapist. She facilitates clinical groups for DTNZ (Dance and Art therapy New Zealand) for children and adolescents with ASD and ADHD, and runs individual sessions for adults and children at her studio, Embodied Movement, in Waitoki. Our retreat begins at 6pm on Friday night with a nourishing plant based dinner (you are welcome to arrive from 3pm that day) and will conclude on Sunday afternoon at approximately 1pm, followed by lunch.
