Prenatal Summer Wind Down

Wanting to prepare your changing body and mind for the upcoming Summer Holidays?
Join Laura McKenzie for 90 minutes of gentle yoga flow, guided visualisations and breath work in the lead up to Xmas and the New Year.
Expect to learn new skills and practices which you can take with you where ever your Summer Holidays take you.
We don’t recommend doing an active practice until you’re 12 weeks along, and it’s best to consult your health professional first.
At Kanuka, we recommend you try Restore classes to start with if you’re pregnant, and please always let the teacher know you’re pregnant so she can suggest alternative poses for you =)
Generally speaking, it’s advised to avoid deep forward folds and twists (don’t want to compress your baby’s space too much).
